PARKING & BUILDING ENTRANCE

  • There is a large grass area across the street from the church. This parking area allows you to cross the street and enter the main front doors leading to the main sanctuary.
  • Parking in the large, paved parking area on the left side of the building allows you access to either the main front doors or the doors leading to our Rent Fellowship Hall. From the Rent Fellowship Hall, you have availability to: Rest Rooms, Christian Education Center, Church Library, Fellowship Hall and the Sanctuary.

There is also available parking to the rear and to the right of the building.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?

We encourage you to show up a few minutes early to find your seat and get ready for the service to start! We provide a few minutes of listening to music before each service that helps prepare us to worship God.  Each service is around 60 minutes long.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

We are a casual congregation. You will see everything from shorts and sandals to dresses and jackets. Feel free to wear whatever you'd like!

Our only request is that it’s appropriate for a church setting.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

You can bring three things to our services: a Bible, an open heart, and a friend. You'll see people using a hard copy Bible as well as digital copies on their phones. Every message at First Congregational Church is based completely in the Word of God and it is good to have your own copy to follow. Come expecting to hear God’s voice and learn something about Him, and yourself!

what about my children?

We believe children of all ages learn from the example we set during a worship service, and we would love for you to bring them.  For younger children, we offer sermon sacks containing activities to help keep them occupied during the service. We also offer a livestream of the service in our Rent Fellowship Hall (RFH) which offers more space for families and children. Childcare for children 5 and under during the 8:30 AM service. One of our greeters will be happy to direct you to the RFH or Nursery.
