Hospitality - Hosting coffee hours, coordinating food needs for memorial services and other special events, as well as communicating with the flock through greeting cards & providing meals to shut ins are just a few of the ways the Hospitality Team draws us together as a family.
Missions Team - Our goal is to build relationships with people and organizations, to work together in shared effort, and to proclaim Christ’s love to God’s people locally, nationally and internationally.
Music Teams - Our music ministry coordinates a very active music program. We have a blended contemporary service on Saturday in Newton with the Newton Praise Band. On Sunday mornings we present a contemporary service with the Kingston Praise Band, and a traditional service with our Church Choir. We are always looking for enthusiastic Christian musicians and vocalists. Don't be shy, come "make a joyful noise" with any of our groups. We'd love to have you join us.
Pastoral Care - The Pastoral Care Team is made up of a group of people who enjoy caring for others. We care about those who are ill at home or in the hospital. We visit them, often preparing and delivering meals to them and their families. We also care about those who are unable to transport themselves to medical appointments and assist in that way. The Pastoral Care Fund, generously provided by donations from our own church family, is managed carefully by our team. The Fund is available for those in our church family and nearby towns who find themselves in need of emergency funds. Caring for others is our way of spreading God’s word. We are committed to carrying out the goals of Pastoral Care during the Covid 19 crisis.
Spiritual Gifts - People drawn to this ministry have a genuine love for people and zeal to be a "match-maker." Intercessory prayer, hosting workshops, ministry fairs, leadership training and having a good working knowledge of all ministries offered at First Congregational Church of Kingston.
